If organically grown food is important to you then you need to be a registered voter and vote.  Only about 60% of the US is registered to vote and of that only about 50-60% actually vote. Description: Organic Consumers Association is a consumer advocate for labeling of genetically engineered food. They promote organic food and sustainable agriculture. Watchdog group to monitor biotech, irradiated food, mad cow disease, gmo and rBGH. They want pesticide reduction, permaculture, biodynamic and sustainable farming.

Description: Tilth Producers, a Chapter of Washington Tilth Association, is the organic and sustainable farm organization of Washington State. A membership organization of over 400 Washington growers, Tilth Producers fosters and promotes ecologically sound, sustainable agriculture in the interest of environmental preservation, human health and social equity.

Description: Organic Gardening Magazine offers help to all gardeners interested in growing organically.  Check out their website. 

6. Paradise Alliance

Description: Our neighborhood is being threatened by someone who is attempting to get a zone change from agricultural to mining.  He would like to build a gravel quarry and asphalt plant.  This will threaten our wells, property value and air quality.  If you would like to help, please see this site.
